Although this website is aimed at people who are searching for a company to help design and publish a low-cost website, NSA Website Design is part of the larger company Newton-Smith Associates Ltd. The parent company offers a larger range of services, including electronic and hard-copy publishing. Often, once a client relationship is established in one sphere, there is a demand for the other services offered by the parent company.
Such was the case with a request from a well established company, Industrial Cost reduction Ltd (ICR). Over several years NSA has provided ISR with quantities of different material, including templates for producing case studies and reports.
The last request was to provide ISR with custom folders to hold company information to issue to their prospective clients. The NSA studios created the necessary artwork and electronic version, sending this to ISR via e-mail so they could have these printed by their local printer.
The finished product is now in use and meets the high specification set by our client, who has expressed full satisfaction with the work.
This is another advantage of NSA being able to provide a range of inter-linked services with a speedy turn-around and ensuring synergy with the rest of the clients branding is maintained.

Make-over needed for growing company
Websites have a relatively short shelf life. Websites are continually evolving, both in terms of techniques and features but also in style, with older websites soon talking on a dated look.
Just a few years ago websites were created to fit the most popular screen sizes and settings, usually 800 pixels wide, although some sites took advantage of the newer screen settings of just over 1000 pixels.
Some even had a 'fit-all' style that stretched the website content to fit the screen size, irrespective of the screen's settings. Whilst satisfying the wish to fill the screen with content, it had the big disadvantage of loosing its structure, with text moving in a disproportional way to the images placed initially to accompany the text. Above all, websites created in the contemporary style of three of four years ago, now look as out of place as a vinyl record.

Increasingly, clients who had websites created to fit the older formats, or who want features and techniques that were not available at the time of creating their website, now return to have a make-over, completing changing the style of their site and bringing it up-to-date with the latest styles and 'fashions'.
A long standing client of NSA is the director of a company in the south of France who initially started by manufacturing bespoke circular and arch pvc windows. NSA created the company's first website, publishing this to meet the norms at the time. Now the company had moved on - it has grown enormously both in size and the range of products offered. In addition the company now find most of their business working with large building companies on large projects, rather than individual builders.
It was for these reasons that the director of the company, OCintrage-pvc, requested a major change to the website. A specification was given, an important feature of which was that the website should reflect the new direction of the company.
The new website has just been uploaded (visit and view here www.ocintrage-pvc.com) and the client has expressed his appreciation for both the delivery and the style / content of the website - "...exceeded my expectations", he said.

French construction company's new website attracts new business
Continuing the success of a family firm, Gomez Constructions and Renovations, the son Daniel has expanded the business and now operates throughout the south of France.
The principal activities of the company are construction of new properties, essentially villas; design and construction of swimming pools- in all sizes, and renovation of older properties, typically like one of the their latest projects, an old château.
To further strengthen the growth in business, the owner approached NSA and asked for a range of publicity material, including a commercial website. The client specified a number of features he required, including the ability to display photos of all the work in progress and projects completed. It was essential that the photo galleries were continually updated as work progressed. This was agreed under a normal maintenance contract.
After reviewing several examples of what could be designed and created for the company, the client chose a new large size interactive gallery.
The website, completed in French to appeal to French clients, is now complete, uploaded and already attracting new business for the company.
NSA are pleased to have another fully satisfied client - visit the website at www.gomez-constructions.fr.

Prestige UK engineering company has new, clean and modern website
NSA have just created and launched a new website for Park Precision Ltd (www.parkltd.co.uk). The brief handed to NSA was to create a new modern website that reflected the many qualities of this precision engineering website, replacing the old version of the website which they felt was long past it's sell-by-date. In particular, the website needed to emphasise the way Park worked for full customer satisfaction, achieved in part with the close working relationship with each client during project development.
Over the last 25 years Park Precision Ltd has moved from a precision engineering subcontractor to a leading contract manufacturer offering product input, manufacturing, assembly facilities, finishing and logistics. Sub sea, defence, electronics, aircraft, food and energy industries have provided sustained growth which has enabled expansion into 20,000 sq feet of unit space and investment in the latest manufacturing technology and systems.
During this period Park has assembled a strong and flexible team to carryout services and customer support including a large number of skilled engineers who have the experience to turn a customer's ideas into finished product ready to market, using efficient, and quick turnaround methods.
NSA is proud to be associated with Park Precision, and hope to continue this successful working relationship.

Major make-over for elections

Keeping up-to-date with current affairs often means major changes to a website hosted with NSA. One such website (www.petersoulsby.org) is owned by Sir peter Soulsby MP. The website had some changes to take account of the UK General Election, with new features added to help constituents in Leicester.
Now the website has had another change, but this time major. Sir peter has stepped down as MP for Leicester South to stand in the forthcoming election for the first elected mayor of Leicester City.
This is a big change and needed quite a lot of work to turn the website around with a 'new face', that of promoting Sir peter to the electorate. Many new pages were created, older ones turned into an interactive archive, so the website offers the old and the new.
The vote will be on May 5 2011 and NSA wish their client Sir Peter all the best in this election.

New website for pharmaceutical services company
GDP Pharma Services Ltd (GDPPS) is a niche provider of Contract Responsible Persons to the Pharmaceutical Industry in the UK . They give support to companies through its regulatory GDP (Good Distribution Practice) requirements in a structured, professional and robust way.
The company also offer Responsible Persons training, a vital component of the pharmaceutical industry in the UK.
GDP Pharma Services approached NSA with a request to design and develop a website that would give prominence on the internet when pharmaceutical businesses conducted searches for companies offering this type of service.
There was a good specification given - the type of colour scheme required - it needed to fit with current company colours and imagery, the style of font needed, and the need to highlight important sections of relevant text.
The NSA Studio worked quite closely with the client, submitting drafts for consideration and then moving toward completion and launch. The website can be seen here: www.gdppharmaservices.co.uk.

One-Stop-Shop benefits
Recent clients, based in Cyprus, were well pleased with the service and work provided by NSA websitedesign when we created their company website, www.pcc-cyprus.com/. The client's business is good with the need now to employ other people. But, stretching further, the client has come back to order more publicity material to grow the business even more.
Our parent company has just completed the first batch of this new material, composed of company stationery, business cards, product price lists and full colour leaflets.
The material templates are created and completed in our French studios and then sent via the internet to Cyprus for printing by a designated local printer.
The printer has done a real professional job, replicating exactly in hard copy what the client saw and accepted as drafts on his screen.
It proves yet again the benefit of offering a one-stop-shop for business and organisations.
